Situada al norte de Palencia, Saldaña es una población con historia: antigua zona de poblamiento romano, ruinas del castillo de Doña Urraca del siglo XII, plaza medieval y casonas solariegas. La casa rural está ubicada en la Plaza Vieja de Saldaña, llamada así por ser una de las zonas con más historia del pueblo. Se trata de una plaza medieval empedrada y con escudos nobiliarios. 

(Saldaña is settled in the north of Palencia and it is a village with history: it was an old Roman settlement, it has ruins of the castle of Doña Urraca from the XII century, a medieval square and  nobility houses. The rural house is in the Plaza Vieja (Old Square) of Saldaña, called like that because it is one of the areas with more history in the village. It is a medieval paved square with coats of arms.
